Home Evenings That Help Teens Defend the Church
We inoculate our children against harmful disease. Why not inoculate our teenagers against harmful attacks on the Church they face at school by sharing with them accurate material on difficult subjects in the safety of a Family Home Evening setting where they can ask questions and discuss.
The following video clip is right up to date. It deals with recent news items that confuse the FLDS Church with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Teens can even send it via Facebook, or email to friends who misunderstand.
If the clip doesn't play to the end, click on stop, then pull the little arrow further along the bar and release. The end is powerful.

Hi Anne,
Thank you for stopping by my blog, Monday's Child.
My family is Catholic in South Georgia where the predominant religion is Baptist so I can relate to uninformed comments being made to children. My sons are 17 and 20 now and still attend mass faithfully. My oldest attends at his university at our church's outreach to young Catholics and I am so thankful he is connecting with the next generation.
I look forward to visiting your blog.
Leigh
Totally true. It's very confusing for people to understand the differences. Thanks for sharing the video. Very helpful. I guess we just have to keep on informing our friends, neighbors, children and anyone who will listen and eventually they will get it.
