The Institute Teachers Manual for Religion 333 (Teachings of the Living Prophets, p. 3) contains an excellent scripture chain that you wish to build with your students in class. D&C 50:36 And behold, verily I say unto you, blessed are you who are now hearing these words of mine from the mouth of my servant, for your sins are forgiven you.
